Our Avantrasara plans are building nicely, with real time monitoring showing encouraging signs of prediction based on statistical modeling and pattern recognition.

The scientists tell me not to use the phrase Bayesian Artificial Neural Network.  Apparently it's received bad press in the past with spectacular failures in financial markets.

But what we're doing is indeed Bayesian Artificial Neural Networks and it shows every sign of adding real value.

I've been playing around with ideas on commercial models, which I'll describe in detail soon.

For the moment I've been having some fun thinking up names for the various services we'll offer.  So far my favourites are Celtic Gods names:

  • Airmid - goddess of healing and medicine
  • Ogmios - god of knowledge
  • Sirona - god of healing

Sounds a good start to me.
